Enspire Design Group provided architectural consulting and site planning services for a renovated 1,400 square feet residence. The unique combination of Hampton style shingle and modernist design blends seamlessly into the bucolic waterfront lifestyle in the Village of Bellport, New York.
Enspire Design Group worked with the homeowners and architects, Maria Alataris, RA & Vishaan Chakrabarti, RA in creating a simple yet elegant design that optimizes unobstructed bayfront views from all public and private spaces in the home while reflecting the dynamic boundary between land and sea. The existing two bedroom, two bath home has been completely renovated, expanded, and elevated to be hurricane and flood resistant in accordance with FEMA standards.
Enspire Design Group also worked closely with the local village building department, Zoning and Architectural Review boards, Environmental and Health department agencies to achieve a design which balanced both community and environmental needs.
