Enspire Design Group provided architectural consulting and site planning services for this new construction 14,000 square feet Modernist home located on a three (3) acres waterfront parcel in the Village of Bellport, New York. The vision that came to light is a Modern home design that emphasized clean lines and geometric shapes of intentional asymmetry.
Enspire Design Group worked as the Primary Consulting Architect with Prime Architect, Alan Ritchie of PJAR Architects (Philip Johnson, Alan Ritchie), Landscape Architect – Thomas Balsley of SWA/ Balsley and the homeowners to create this year-round family residence. The design capitalizes on the sweeping views of the Great South Bay while creating soaring and open interior spaces.
The design also connects a variety of outdoor recreational spaces that offers attractive and functional entertaining spaces. Of note is the extensive landscaping design that incorporates a variety of vegetation, stone and specimen plantings.
To achieve this equilibrium, the team worked closely with the local village building department, Zoning and Architectural Review boards, Environmental and Health department agencies to achieve a contemporary design that complemented the community and environmental needs.
